Situated within natural surroundings, next to the Noé River, this 19th century bourgeois mansion houses a rich lace collection, and recounts Argentan's lace making past. With delicacy and elegance, you will find pieces dating from the 16th to the 20th century that are evidence of the mastery in an ancient know-how.
On 2013 the House of Laces will provide a new figure : works have been undertaken to propose a modern environment.
The exhibition "Influence[s]" will be to discovered : contemporary artists present works inspired from lace and the textile industry.
